- Three Fantastic Dances - I recorded these pieces the day after my piano jury, fall semester, '07. They were written by Dmitri Shostakovich, whose music can be described simplistically as 'weird' or 'moody'. They are certainly the most interesting and delightful music in my repertoire.
- Choir Piece - a piece inspired by certain aspects of the movie Cold Mountain. Originally written with violin solo over-top, but it sounded too synthesized. About one minute long.
- Woodwind Quintet - Click here.
- Yummy Pizzicato
- a head-noddingly good bit of string awesome. What should I call this
piece?
- Grave - a symphonic movement, worked on for quite a stretch
- Classical Symphony - another, unrelated symphonic movement. An older piece that I'm fond of. I am aware that there are flaws.
- String Soundtrack - a soundtracky bit of bidness that shows I'm better at harmony than melody.
- Maestoso Suite - a long piece in three sections. This is what happens when you listen to Glass, Prokofiev, Tchaikovsky, and Chopin, then spend three hours writing a piece late at night. It's good, too.
- The Other Fugue - a fugue, but one in which almost every rule of fugueness is broken. Very modern, yes.
- KungFu Tetris - a techno remix of Tetris. Unusually original, in my unbiased and humble opinion.
There will always be more. Just be patient.
